    Default 2011 speedster getting capped

alot of people on other forums showed interest to how a cap job went down so i got some detailed pics
starts out buy looking like they destroyed my brand new boat

then gets filled with glass (not bonda thats gonna crack like everyone thinks !!!!!

then some color matched primer so you dont have to worry about the bleed trough

then gel coat and you have no more ugly rub rail

Really cool to see; thanks for posting. I know every new boat project is individual but can anyone comment about how much addional $$ it adds to the price of the boat to go capped instead of rubrail? Like xx dollars per foot maybe? Just looking for a ballpark as i might want to do this on a future boat someday.

I paid 2500.00 to have my 26' boat done although I was having other work done at the same time which probably influenced the price.

wow, thats great looking work; i never really thought about doing that to my current boat but it would look really nice. Guess I have another thing to add to the list of mods I want to make
