Default Any Home loan lenders on the board

Thinking about getting a equity line on the house to puchase the next boat.
Rather use there money then mine,,Just left wells fargo and they said they coulnd'nt do it since my house is payed for free and clear, they said it needed a morgage attached to it, to do a equity line, Doesnt make scence to me so they refered me to someone they work with. So I figured I would try a fellow P/Ber.

What state is the property located in?
The worst day boating is better than the best day doing just about anything else!!

This is incorrect; i suspect the banker you were talking to doesn't know much about the process. If you need help with WF, I can steer you in the right direction.

    Try your local credit union....
I took a line of credit and paid off my 1st.
Current rate 3.75% Started in 2006 at 4.2 for two years, went to 6%, fell back to where it is now. Will be paid off in 30 months.
No costs whatsoever in setting this up.
