    Default Want your battery suggestions?

I have two small 360 watt amps 4 interior speakers and 2 10" subs. I don't listen to my stereo all day but would like to for a little while and would like to put 2 new batteries in the boat but am not sure what to get. I have 2 group 24's in there now that are some carquest deep cycles and they have stickers on them that say 07 so they have been in there a bit. Now that I installed a decent stereo what would you guys suggest that won't kill my wallet?

I buy all my batteries at costco, they have great batteries for the price. even at my shop when i called interstate to setup my shop, the rep came out and said that costco sells the same batteries for less than my cost would be. the only thing interstate had going for it was the rack that they kept stocked for me..

I run the same type system in my boat using 2 group 24 Interstate deep cycles and have not had any problems. I also have a battery tender mounted in the engine compartment that I plug in at night.

X2 - Costco has a "no questions asked" exchange policy under warranty period also.

LifeLine Batteries has an excellent line, and Sears has a good line of AGM batteries as well and their warranty is one of the best. On their starting batteries Sears has a 4 year free replacement and on the marine line its a 3 year free replacement.

X3 - On the Costco Batterys I got 2 Group 24's and 1 Group 27 in the Boat and also run 2 of the the Costco Goup 24's in my Toy Hauler. These battery will last quite a while as long as you keep the Maintainer on them when not in use.
