    Default Big Cat Poker Run

Here are some photos from this weekend's Big Cat Poker Run from Discovery Bay to Stockton, CA. The weather was picture perfect, good vibes were in abundance, and everything ran very smoothly. Great to see a lot of familiar faces, including "Mr. Sweeper" owner Leonard Vella. Special thanks to Gary and Rosemary Colledge, Allen Bellinghausen, and Steve and Suzy Nozet for their friendship and considerable hospitality!

I keep wanting to do this one, will try harder next year...
I don't know who you are and I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom, I can tell you I don't have money. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you....

We had a great time! Even though we lost a drive and smoked a transmission, it was alot of fun.

Well, except the drive 8 hour drive home in traffic...lol.

You go through more equipment than top fuel drag boat team. I cringe when I think what your budget must be.

With all those issues, I'm surprised you don't drink heavily.

Well, thankfully it wasn't my boat this time. I guess i shouldn't mention the cockpit cover coming loose on the drive in and messing up the paint, or the fuel pump going south, either...lol.

Hey Gary- thanks again for lending us your co-pilot! I think he wants to be back home in the Skater, though.
