cvxjet, Read this below attachment on Serfdom. Just substitute modern terms like Corporatism, CEOs, plutocrats, employees, etc. for feudalism , manorialism, Lords etc.... It really is a similar economic ,status arrangement in many ways.

Sounds more like you're envious of the rich, yet aren't willing to make the sacrifices necessary. You believe in Obama taking money from thise who have and giving to those who didn't work for it. You do know that if we were to redistribute wealth throughout the world, you;d be living on $5000 a year.

We are clearly a different economy and it didn't just happen overnight.

That 15% over 32 yrs is nothing to jump up and down about either. The whole world has grown richer while the US has lost some advantage, those 2 billion new workers have competed wages down some for us.

Are you calling the guy who took the job that you turned down a liar, cheater, and theif just because it was inconvenient for you to take it??

I am a HS dropout, I do not lie, cheat , or steal....ever.
And it is not greed that drives me.
It is the security of not making my loved ones worry about things like food, mortgages, bills etc.

I realize that playing the blame game is a natural avenue for libs, as it is the easiest course of action.
But I'll let you in on a secret I learned a long time ago.
Everyone has the same trials in life, just at different levels. Whining, blaming and complaining will get you nowhere, because most people have similar problems in their lives.
The question that needs asked is what are you prepared to do about it??

Agreed, except for the last paragraph you got a little full of yourself. The point is that it is a continuing trend that didn't just happen with this President but rather at the hands of people we have ALL voted for. The imprtant thing is to focus on the issues while not making generalizations theatwill get us nowhere.

So what do you want R&J, some of Steven Job's inheritance? Would that make you happy. Are you deserving? Would you feel better if his family was stripped down to say their last million? The company I worked for in Chicago paid 100% of the health care for me and for my wife (we both worked there)... At the end of the year we both received a full months pay as a bonus along with pretty nice vacation benefits...

Take a simple Dewalt battery drill, there was some serious outlay of $$$ in many areas before you could pick it up off the shelf at HomeDepot and buy it... There was some serious $$$ and RISK on the part of Home Depot to put up a building, stock and staff the store before you could buy it...
