Cal State Fullerton's President

$324,500 for CSU Fullerton President Mildred Garcia, as well as $12,000 car allowances and $60,000 housing allowances for each.

This President has also been given $300,000 to remodel the 5,800 square foot house, this is on campus. (Why if you live on campus would you need a $12,000 car allowance?) And, if the house remodel isn't finished buy July 1st, she will get a $5,000 a month housing allowance!!!

What could this college president possibly do to earn $1,000 a day???? These LIBERAL PUKES are working for the public. How many California tax payers earn $360,000 a year???

Stuff like this makes me sick, of course ZOMBIE will have an excuse to pay these college jackasses this kind of money.......

My son just finished up at the University of Utah. While they still have a little waste here and there, they're a lot better at controlling the costs. The state government isn't as controlled by the teachers here.
We paid between $4500-5500 a year. He received a very good education at a very good university.

Excellent answer Ron, even though its wrong. You might be more correct today, but back then college basketball, and even basketball in general wasn't the BIG money draw it is now.
As far as life time average income, I have no doubt that Wooten is at the top, as he should be. But he was not the highest paid Calif State employee during that period.
To my knowledge, this was the first state employee anywhere in the country to be paid 1 million a year in his final contract.

My son-in-law teaches at a public university there in California and his salary has gone down not to mention his summer semesters have been cancelled this year so he'll make about 30% less than he's been making which is still not any where near a six digit salary - and he's a department head. Maybe the money went to administration. Heaven forbid we should pay our teachers well.

He's not a liberal, by any means. Maybe that's contributed to his recent reduction in pay? Naw, it was across the board for his entire department.

Show me a government run institution that cuts at the top. If they cut the police department, they pay the mayor and police commissioner. They hire fewer firemen and no new trucks, while paying the city counsel 25% more. If they cut college professors income, they pay the admin more. All this is due to the increased stress caused by the increased hate letters and Emails.

Looked at the increases in the regent pay in calif? Unbelievable for this economy, when the state is broke.
