CVX has such a closed minded view of what the real business world is all about, it is no wonder why he works for the government, He'd never make in the the business world. If it wern't for government employment there would be alot more people like CVX living in cardboard boxes and under overpasses.

He fits right in with the retired gov employee and the dirt pusher!

Yer right...but the only lumping I am doing with with the CVXs and the 1.64s of the world who think the entire business world was created just for them and cater to employees' demands, whims and wishes and to hell with production, profits, return on investments and calculated risks, thats not for them to think about. To them employers are there for the sole purpose of providing them with high paying jobs, generous benefits, retirement packages and any other perk they can extort from the employer. When the whistle blows at 5PM they are outta there like the building was on fire, they get to go home, put their feet up an quaff a beer or two without giving a thought of work until the alarm goes off the next morning at 6AM and the cycle begins again. Lets talk about "paid" holidays the employee gets...does the employer get the same paid holiday? Does the employer even get the day off? While the employee is enjoying his holiday BBQ-ing in his back yard or enjoying a day on the lake or river towing the little ones on skis and innertubes behind his jetboat chances are the employer is working. If not at the office, shop, factory etc he most likely is home pouring over P&L statements, filling out loan applications to take to the bank on Monday so that he might purchase newer, more efficent equipment just so that the company can and HOPEFULLY make money. The employee does not put up his house for collateral against that loan for equipment. What risk does the employee take? The only one I can think of is the chance he might get hit by a bus on his way to work. If the employer is not reading P&L statements maybe he is reading the latest union contract demands laid on his desk Friday at 4:30 PM....so he has the 3 day weekend to read and review. Yep....The employers has it so damn easy and all he as to do is sit on his pile of money and count it....Life is good.

Let me help you clear up some misconceptions you have....There is no tale of woe....I direct that to CVX and his sniviling and whining and refrence his hatred for the businessman and the rich. We clear on that? Being a business owner is not miserable and thankless. I love what I do and expect no thanks from anyone, just pay the bill, thats thanks enough. Next: I don't know how many have chucked it all and went to work for someone else, try Google. I guess that is a good thing that there is that "someone else" to go to work for. I don't know why some fail and go to work for someone else, do you? This has nothing to do with my talents as an acting drama queen, but I'm flattered that you think so. Maybe I missed my calling as an actor. As for the business I am in it is not relevant to this thread that, again that was directed to CVX who rants and foams at the mouth incoherently about the evil, rich businessman who's only goal is to enslave his POOR, hapless workers as they are chained to their desks as the walking boss stands over them cracking his cat-o-nine tails. Government employment was taylored to his kind and a God-send....otherwise he and his kind would be living in a Kelvinator box. Government employment are for those who can't make it in the private sector, even as a employee. I'm happy to have had this oppertunity to correct some of the many misconceptions you liberals have of private business and those who run them. Glad to be of service.

Can you imagine what these whiney pussies sound like to people in other countries? There is not a single law in this country stopping them from making as much money has they can or want. Not a single law that forces any of them to work a single hour for anybody they don't want to, or for a dime less than they are WORTH. They are free to pedal their VAST knowledge and EXTREME work ethic, any where in the entire country, to any employer, for what ever wage they can get.
