Here is a question for you

If you go by how the media portrays them, yes they do come off incompetent. But then we have a president that speaks very eloquently and he is incompetent. Dan Quayle is actually a very intelligent person. The media hated him so they drug him through the mud. He made two gaffs. No where near to stupidity of Biden, yet you don't see Biden drug through like Quayle was. Palin is actually a very smart person that was portrayed poorly. If you took the time to talk with people that either knew of her or knew her, you'd find that she was extremely smart and was a very competent as governor. A much better governor than Ol' Moonbeam!!!

Of the 2 most recent VPs thrust into the presidentcy, one was a egotistical asshole that sent the country off a cliff it is still falling from to this day. And he was at the time praised as then great politician. An socialist prick, but a "great politician.
The other was labeld by the media as a baffoon. He ended the greatest conflict this country has ever indured, grew the economy and inspired patriotism and pride in the american people. When he left office he drove home, to the house that his wife inherited from her mother, in his own car, alone with his wife, and lived on a modest pension from the government. He was suppose to lose by a landslide because of his ineptitude. Something else got him elected.

I hate to say it, but Hildabeast was a better choice when it came to foreign affairs which is why she's SoS. Obama was afraid that she'd have him wacked if he picked her as VP.
Joe Lieberman would have been better when it came to knowledge on foreign affairs but his religion would have hurt us with the middle east. Biden was just the least toxic of the dems.

Palin actually did a lot for Alaska and their economy. She went after a lot of the politicians including republicans for corruption. She also set up funds to help the indigenous people. She went after the oil companies for royalties and instead of using it for the BS state stuff, she's was instrumental in increasing the payouts of the royalites to the citizens. My friends step father is a high up in the Alaska State Patrol and had a lot of really good things to say about her (he was also trying to get my son to go to work for him). He was a democrat. He said that since she's been gone, it's changed for the worse.
