This may be the worst part of this. Business owners may find its easier to simply write a penalty check than to manage a health care program for employees.

Leaving workers with the option of finding their own insurance..... (signing on to government sponsored healthcare)

What do you suppose it will do to the quality of medical care for the common person?
Concern for the poor is not socialism.

"The Affordable Care Act is constitutional in part and unconstitutional in part The individual mandate cannot be upheld as an exercise of Congress's power under the Commerce Clause," Roberts wrote. "That Clause authorizes Congress to regulate interstate commerce, not to order individuals to engage it. In this case, however, it is reasonable to construe what Congress has done as increasing taxes on those who have a certain amount of income, but choose to go without health insurance. Such legislation is within Congress's power to tax."

The ruling did rein in one element of the law -- the expansion of Medicaid across the country to take in millions of low-income Americans. The opinion allows Washington to offer more funding to states to expand the program, but says the federal government cannot penalize states for not participating in the new program by withholding existing Medicaid funds.

Details, details, details... Nothing but little details... The supporters of ObLAIMoCare don't give a hoot about the spirit in which the constitution was crafted... OR how questionable and marginal this whole mess is... As long as they get something for "FREE" at the end of the day...

They don't give a hoot what this has done to healthcare abroad AND they don't give a hoot what the end result is on the fiscal bottom line for the economy even though they can watch Greece and Spain and other E.U. countries go right down the toilet in front of their eyes on the nightly world news...

Just gimme sumpin FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeee eeeeeeeee... Right guys??? Damn the consequences...
Don't interfere with anything in the Constitution. That must be maintained, for it is the only safeguard of our liberties......... Honest Abe..........

You guys that are for it don't really understand what's going to happen to businesses. A lot of businesses will not expand so as to keep under the limit, other companies will be dropping healthcare and pay the fine, insurance rates will continue to go up, and other businesses will just opt to offshore. You guys may have insurance but there won't be any jobs. It's going to shrink the economy.

    Good Post!

It has to be paid for by someone. Where do you think it's going to come from? You can bet it isn't going to be paid by the poor. It's going to come from the middle class. Businesses, and there are many that are just barely getting by, will offset it somewhere. In the end, we'll pay for it either by losing jobs, increased costs of goods, or taxes. You think that it's going to help the economy?
Like I said, we may not have a job, but we will have healthcare.

You hit the nail on the head. I decided in Jan to start downsizing permanent employees, I'm down roughly 2/3's at this point. By the end of the year it'll be down to 1 or 2 and every job will be treated as it's a sub. I won't say it was because of Obamacare, but todays decision confirmed I made the correct decision for myself and my business. For me it's simply gotten to the point where the additional income simply isn't worth the level of effort it entails.

Anybody that thinks tax increases are only going to hit the "rich" is a certifiable idiot. The only way any of the proposed tax increases will fatt'n the fed is to hit them squarely in the middle class. The "rich" bs is simply a sales pitch to get the sheep to support it.

You should ask Mr. Leach if he thinks he'll expand above 50 people now? Once this kicks in and the economy takes a big crap, he won't have to worry as no one will be able to afford a new boat. But then again, if O gets his way, these thing will be banned by EO or have to run on solar power!

This seems to be legislating from the bench. The law said it wasn't a tax, because they couldn't pass it as a tax but the court changed it into a tax so the law can stand.

Me being the animal lover i am, have been searching for some help for you. Would you go to a goat whisperer?

    Goat Whisperer
An act of nudity, usually performed in change room showers, where one person bends over, clamping their sack between their legs, so that both anus and scrotum are clearly visible. Demonstrated by seniors at the expense of juniors.

    Urban Dictionary: goat whisperer

Maybe it's a good thing, and the Presidential election will be based on this.....
That is the bottom line. Obamacare is a lose/lose situation. Either zero looks like crap for trying to jamb something unconstitutional down the throats of 'We the People' or Romney gets yet another place to stand against zero.
It's as simple as "If obamacare had been struck down would it have cost Romney any votes...highlyunfreekin likely.

Could Romney expect even more support because of the decision? (hint, since the SC made their decision public Romney has been collecting campaign contributions at a rate of almost $100,000 per hour.

That is, if zero even makes it until November. He still needs to figure out how to get to poop off his shoe he stepped in from his games with holder and we haven't heard from Sheriff Joe lately.....he did say he has even more facts to prove obamafraud.....And the one thing about Sheriff Joe...the man does not lie......I did hear that he was able to track the source of the fraudulent b/c to someone in Hi.

I took the liberty of making a minor correction to your post, is ok i trust?
