    Exclamation D-Day For Gun Control

Without much fanfare and with as little publicity as possible, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will go to New York City to sign the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), now in the final stages of negotiation at the U.N. The treaty marks the beginning of an international crusade to impose gun controls on the United States and repeal our Second Amendment rights.

The ATT is nominally geared toward the purpose of stopping international arms sales to gangs, criminals and violent groups. But, as is so often the case with U.N. treaties, this is merely a convenient facade behind which to conceal the ATT’s true intent: to force gun control on the United States.

Secretary Clinton will doubtless succeed in inserting language into the treaty asserting that it in no way is meant to restrict our right to bear arms. But even this language will be meaningless in the face of the overall construct set up by the treaty.

The ATT is to be administered by an International Support Unit (ISU), which will ensure that “parties [to the treaty] take all necessary measures to control brokering activities taking place within [their] territories … to prevent the diversion of exported arms to the illicit market or to unintended end users.”

It's not goping to go anywhere. The treaty has to be passed by congress and there have been many Dems in the Semnate that said they will not pass it. But you never know. Unfortunately our congress will not listen to the people anyhow.
If you voted for Obama to prove you were not racist, then you better find someone else to vote for to prove your not stupid.

Gun control is coming, but sooner than that. The control over the amount of ammo you can buy per quarter, month or year will arrive first..

It's too bad, I have been an avid gun lover for my whole life..Always obeyed the laws. And now my rights are being stripped from me.

One day I will be an outlaw w/ a gun..

I agree, it will not pass Congress. The Treaty of The Sea failed to pass Congress recently. This shit is just more of Hussein's Marxist aggenda he keeps trying to impose on the Country.

I will sign the petition anyway!!!!

Yes, I never thought that it would happen to the Aussies. We will have to be very vigilant and hopefully get some real Constituionalists on the Supreme Court.

Don't make the mistake other countries made by taking such attacks on the second amendment lightly.

That is right. I thought our Canadian brothers were slipping that way, but it looks like they have turned around. They (Canadian gov) still lost billions of dollars in the registration sham!!!

congess and more specifically the SC love to look to OTHER countries to see how the US should look at laws. Every day the laws of our constitution mean less and less to our elected officials.
I would LOVE to see a political party that ran 100% on the laws of the constitution, with particular attention to the Bill of Rights, as it is written.

Well, it is ALL working out so well for the E.U. (read Spain/Greece), the African countries and China/N.Korea seem to be doing real well with regard to human rights... SO why shouldnt the Federal Govt look abroad for ideas???

They can have my guns when I'm dead IF they can get them away from my kids and my siblings...

Time to buy a three pack of lower recieves and a few thousand more rounds of brass for the safe...

IF Hillary wants to expedite the revolution let her have at it... She can ratchet it up, I'll just stock up...

We were in Bermuda getting ready to board a flight home. Saw some police. They were unarmed. I questioned that. They said guns were illegal there. I said "So criminals are the only ones with guns here"? Gave me a dirty look.

Did some industrial training to some folks from Slovakia. They wanted to see a typical American home. I invited them to mine and I showed them my SKS. They were amazed. Wanted to know if I felt it necessary to have that to defend my family. I said no I just wanted one. Their military was the only place they would see a rifle like that back home.
