L.A. City Dems Fiddle....

The Dems that run L.A. just voted to ban plastic shopping bags and passed a 1 year ban on opening new fast food resurants in south L.A.
Forget that the Crips and Bloods control the streets of South L.A. It's Burger King and Col Sanders that must be stopped.
The Ban on plastic bags will only go into effect if the state (Dem sponsored) 25 cent per bag tax measure fails (apparently high taxes trump the environment to Dems).
A bunch of Neros fiddling (on our Dime).....

The Crips and Bloods aren't just "2" gangs. Every area has their own Branch (Piru Bloods, West Side Crips). And every neighborhood in that branch has their own set (18th St. Piru Bloods, Imperial West Side Crips, etc.).

Each run under the umbrella of the "main" gang. There are an estimated 30,000 Crips and 18-20,000 Bloods in the South Central LA area.

There has been a loose association between the two for about 10 years, mostly to combat the Latino and Asian gangs. But they still distrust each other, and mini wars often break out between the various sets.

But they're still the most powerful street gangs in the southland.

So the majority of jobs in the fast food industry go to entry level, unskilled, poor folks. These types of jobs are fairly scarce in areas such as this one where new start-ups are now banned. I wonder how much government entitlement money it will require to fill the gap for people that could actually work. Liberal Leftists doing the job to destroy America.

Latin Gang violence is up and gangs like MS 13 are getting more press these days, but the Crips and Bloods are as active as they ever were and they run the streets in the areas that are involved in the junk food ban (Jan Perry's district)....

Many of the areas that these gangs used rule, are no longer black neighborhoods. the nice neighborhoods where I grew up are still nice and primarily black with a few white hold outs. Still nice places to live. The areas that weren't as nice are now primarily Latino, with loads of gang activity.

I took a look at the Ninth District. I think you would be surprized how much of this area is Latino

No need for the FYI. I know the details.
Jan Perry is a Black counselwoman in a changing district who's latinos (generally) have a lot of anti black views. Mine was a generalized retorical statement, to highlight the folly of our idiotic counsel's fiddling around.
Believe me I have been following the issue of increased latin gangs and L.A.s changing demographics quite closely. What has been particurally disturbing is the Latin on Black violence, that has been increasing for the last few years as these shifts have occured and latin gangs have even targeted ordinary black citizens, in order to terrorize them out of some neighborhoods. The city counsel has turned a blind eye to this and the fact that one group of Hate crimes that has been rising for the last few years has been latin on black violent crime. While nobody condones the violence the sad fact is that our city's Junta of "Latinino leaders" in the city and state government are benefiting from this demographic shift and our "Black Leaders" are too weak and PC to even stand up and oppose the increased violence that is occuring along with it (Jan Perry is a perfect example of the latter).

P.S. I still have family and friends in these areas and trust me the problem is far worse than the stats reflect. The fact is, that the vast majority of gang crimes, that do not actually involve a homicide, go unreported out of fear of repercussion etc..

But that doesn't fit Ultra's agenda. He isn't wrong, just ask him.. no matter how much proof you guys lay in front of him.
