Good point I never stopped to even think about.

Did you read all my post about mnf, I noted how I have not missed a single of my sons events until sat for reasons in the post...POINT was I asked my son " who has never missed one of your games" he said "I don't know" Duh me the mom with no glory for being at them all. Thats what mom and dads do when they can. Some parents have to work 2 jobs and can't get to a game. Atleast they give the kid the opportunity to play.

Point is, it is like the old adage, come to every game and he may never notice, but miss one and he will may never forget.

My parents missed very few of my games. We had a tight neighborhood, even some of my nieghbors came to games.

Missing a game for a TV show would leave a crappy image in a kids head.

Missing a game now and then due to work is an obligation sometimes not able be denied.

We all have to make a living.

Way more to it than just that, but I get the point and I deserve what I got for asking a stupid question. I know who I am and what I do for my kids. No one here does. My kids will tell you about my commitment speeches as well. I ate the foot I inserted well deserved.
