Dammit, I knew Bush and Cheney had to be up to something. They've been awfully damned quiet lately. They're messin' with the damned Sun....Probably been sending old BP company SUV's up there is what they've probably been doing. And NASA's trying to cover it all up.![]()
"Bottle by bottle, I'm clearing off that shelf...."
The only thing this proves is that we can not predict the sun's future climate any better than we can our own.
One thing that is for sure, is what ever is going on up there is capitolism and freedom's fault and the only thing that will cure it is more government power over industry and our lives.![]()

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
C.S. Lewis
Halliburton....'Cause Cheney controls Halliburton and Bush was just his hand puppet. That evil, diabolical Cheney, the mad scientist that he is....He controls everything and now he has his hands on the sun.....gonna control it too before long. I know 'cause I heard it from Al Frankin on a Air America flashback broadcast from outer space that I got on my crystal radio from Radioshack.![]()
Within the heart of every stray lies the singular desire to be loved. "Good grief you're an irritating blowhard...." [Tex 6/16/11]
Mother nature's power trumps all. However in modern times our ability to screw things up has increased. The oil well disaster in the gulf is an example. Exxon Valdez is another. Someday massive atomic destruction will probably be another. Things like air, ground water, and sea pollution have occurred due to our habits. Global warming ? We probably don't really contribute much to that. Japan and Norway wanting to kill more whales irritates me. There is nothing wrong with trying to live in harmony on this planet. Reasonable harmony is the idea that seems difficult to determine.
Al Gore was not available for comment....

Now Paul McCartney has come out and said denying MMGW is like denying the holocaust.
