    Default Global Warming

Move along. Nothing to see here. Nothing scientific or anything. Just ignore it.

Dammit, I knew Bush and Cheney had to be up to something. They've been awfully damned quiet lately. They're messin' with the damned Sun....Probably been sending old BP company SUV's up there is what they've probably been doing. And NASA's trying to cover it all up.

The only thing this proves is that we can not predict the sun's future climate any better than we can our own.
One thing that is for sure, is what ever is going on up there is capitolism and freedom's fault and the only thing that will cure it is more government power over industry and our lives.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Halliburton....'Cause Cheney controls Halliburton and Bush was just his hand puppet. That evil, diabolical Cheney, the mad scientist that he is....He controls everything and now he has his hands on the sun.....gonna control it too before long. I know 'cause I heard it from Al Frankin on a Air America flashback broadcast from outer space that I got on my crystal radio from Radioshack.

Mother nature's power trumps all. However in modern times our ability to screw things up has increased. The oil well disaster in the gulf is an example. Exxon Valdez is another. Someday massive atomic destruction will probably be another. Things like air, ground water, and sea pollution have occurred due to our habits. Global warming ? We probably don't really contribute much to that. Japan and Norway wanting to kill more whales irritates me. There is nothing wrong with trying to live in harmony on this planet. Reasonable harmony is the idea that seems difficult to determine.

I agree with you. What irritates me is that we can not trust even well known meteroligists because of their hidden aggendas.

Hey pal, not trying to jerk you chain but you are nutty. Comparing a drunk captain of a ship to "Mother nature's power" is AAA 'tard. Atomic destruction? Whales?

This doesn't sound nutty to me at all.
I'm just waiting for greenpeace boats to show up at a poker run and ram into any boat with more than 300 hp.

Yeah he ought to know. He himself has put so much cannibis CO2 into the air that the average mean temp has gone up 2 degrees.

If McCartney's intelligence can be judged from his last divorce/prenuptial deal (our lack thereof), I'll just pass on anything he has to say about things not involving music.

Must be a common trait amongst Bass players of the 60's-70's.....

I saw first hand what happened to them when they came ashore in their Zodiacs at "North Star" drilling island off of Prudhoe Bay.
They were in bracelets and being read their Miranda Rights in under 30 seconds!
