    * We never print a single dollar we can't back up.
    * We discontinue all foreign aid until our deficit is gone.

    * We agree to immediate tort reform with clear limits on legal awards.
    * We care more about the people of this nation than ourselves as representatives.

Those are my non-negotiable demands. Accept them or expect full-scale opposition from the American people.
Check, check and CHECK... BUT I will at least need some QUALITY ice cream, doughnuts, GOOD chocolate and pork ribs as a perk of the office... So long as I get that I will take minimum wage...

Not a penny of taxpayers funds will be used for these perks! I'm going to have an audit of your entire department with one more comment like that.

That was not meant to be a tongue-in-cheek support of death panels...Sorry you took it that way. Maybe it was the that led you to think it so. IMO, the death panels go hand in hand with the change in inheritance laws, Social Security going broke and kicking Grandma to the curb. The Progressives think more of crack mommas cranking out babies and protecting their rights to reproduce, or a woman's right to have an abortion just because a baby at this time would be inconvenent. They think "undocumented workers" have the right to unlimited healthcare along with all their dependents. They also think the government is the best judge of medical treatment for you and not your doctor. Progressives have no use for the elderly as they no longer "contribute" [read pay taxes] to society but draw from it, they also have no use for the elderly because the majority of elderly vote Republican. Not only the progressives want the illegals to be "amnestied" because it will increase their voter block but throwing Grandma and Grandpa under the bus decreases the Republican voter block...Killing two birds with one stone.

    Naw, they'll blame Bush.

What the Fock is with that shit, every where I go, anything you read the only defense these leftists have is to blame Bush. And when they cant blame bush they use the old, Well the governments response is better than it would be if Bush was still in office. For the love of god people please judge the situation for what it is. Obama is sitting on his ass doing nothing about pressing matters and forcing through ( yes I said FORCING) his socialist agenda. Hey people here is a hint and a half for your ass, If you cant afford your own health care what the F$CK makes you think I can afford to pay for my own AND YOURS??

Love all your demands except these 2. I would agree with the first but not immediately. To do it immediately all at once would skyrocket unemployment and kill the economy. Even in a bull market it would be very bad. I played with MS Paint for illustrations

The other demand isn't practical. The good intelligent hard working people wouldn't bother. Ever seen someone working minimum wage at Burger King you'd like to vote for?

The trillions saved on these programs would be money back in the hands of American businessmen and women as well as the taxpaying citizens. For 1/8 the cost, skill training, education, etc. could be set up for everyone who lost their welfare $.

As for public service, it should be for the love of country rather than the need for a job. IMHO

I agree. We just have to slowly wean ourselves off them. Plus you can't just send hundreds of thousands to the unemployment line immediately. Timetable it.

Public service for love of country requires a more patriotic populace than we currently have.
