Default AZ Governor v. Phoenix Suns Team Owner

Not sure if it's true, but it's pretty spot on!!! I hope it is as Brewer is on fire this year!!!

The owner of the Phoenix Suns basketball team, Robert Sarver,
opposes AZ's new immigration laws. Arizona's Governor, Jan Brewer,
released the following statement in response to Sarver's criticism of the new law:

"What if the owners of the Suns discovered that hordes of people
were sneaking into games without paying? What if they had a good idea who
the gate-crashers are, but the ushers and security personnel were not
allowed to ask these folks to produce their ticket stubs, thus non-paying
attendees couldn't be ejected. Furthermore, what if Suns' ownership was
expected to provide those who sneaked in with complimentary eats and
drink? And what if, on those days when a gate-crasher became ill or
injured, the Suns had to provide free medical care and shelter?"

    -Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer

It's a cute and catchy statement. But I think it's beneath the Governor to even address this with him. It's already a law, and this is just comment to the peanut gallery.

So, what's good for the goose (Arizona and the US immigration laws)
Isn't good for the gander (Los Suns game seats?)

It's not beneath the governor to address any personal attacks as Sarver has launched.

I tend to view elected officials in a different light; decorum and taking the high road should be where they're at, not tit for tat.

Has nothing to do with boy and girl geese being "even steven." If the Suns owner was an elected official, it would be a different story.

And when O and Reid and Pelosi bring up Limbaugh and Hannity and Beck in speeches and on the floors of Congress? These folks are taking the "High Road".

Not at all, though I haven't seen the speeches you refer to. Then again, Hannity and Beck work for the guy who wrote a lot of speeches for the GOP, and has been very involved with their election campaigns over the years, and has sent memo's to President Bush concerning decisions the President needed to make.

I dunno. Is Fox a duly-elected Government official, or is it merely ran by someone responsible for that?

I'd like to see where President Obama mentions Hannity and Beck. Pelosi, I don't care about her, or what she has to say. She needs to go first.

Then you'll just have to look for them as I have heard him mention hannity by name on a youTube clip from last year and that's good enough for me.

I was just following up on your High Road comment is all I was doing. Whether you believe what I say or not, matters little to me. That's just the way "your kind" are about things. Spout all your opinions and claim them as fact and everyone else is lying or making things up......

That's the pot calling the kettle black!

All I asked for in this thread and the other thread was a legitimate source. I guess that's asking too much- especially if the sources continue to be nothing but accustations.

His birth cert. was photochopped doncha-know.

GW Bush did this. Lefty media was CONSTANTLY lying about him and his administration....ever since the dust settled from his defeat of algore. Blowing stuff completely out of proportion, taking things out of context, and shaping opinion based on their lies. Using YOU, and your brothers in arms in the military to drag him down and essentially brainwash the public against Bush and Conservatives in general.
GW took the "high road", behaved presidentially, and look what it's gotten us.....both houses of Congress in the hands of the enemy and a lowlife kenyan in the oval office.
Fu ck the "high road". I personally want my politicians to fight these traitorous swine in every way.

Sorry bud. There were a whole bunch of us from General Officer to Private who were a little bit pissed off about the way Iraq was handled.

The feeling that we were used by President Bush for issues that ended up being false, loosing lives on the basis of untruths told in the UN.

When Colin Powel stepped down, a lot of us got a pretty sour message.

We don't need to debate WMD, or Yellow Cake, or whatever. I'm just telling you another version of that high road. And yeah, every single one of us would do it again if so ordered.

    Kombaya that!

It's your world, believe what you want. If you want research, have at it. Most of this stuff has been batted back and forth ad nauseum on here.

The cert of live birth has been posted tens of times on many threads along with socalled expert anyalysis that it was not legitimate, a fake. Other than that, no one has ever produced so much as a reasonable photo copy of O's claim to birth.

Many have started court cases in different venues trying to obtain proof and still nothing is presented. Research has been done to show lots of money spent on attornies to seal all his records. And still he doesn't offer anything up.

No one will say if he was or was not adequately checked out to be a "certified" US Citizen. Slipped though he cracks one DNC fella said. Who knows.....

Basically it makes a very large percentage of the American people ask "Why?????" Why hasn't he just produced that piece of paper and ended all conjecture. Why has he had all his educational and financial records made off limits?

    Good questions, no answers.

    I'm curious "Why".....

You can accept it or whatever you choose to do. Again makes no difference to me. Do as U will, it's your world.
