Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism) is prejudice against or hostility towards Jews.

I don't think this fits Z at all.

Many of us disagree with some of what goes on in, and with , Israel as well and the billions the US provides them each year. I'm sure that doesn't make me, or the rest, prejudice against people of the Jewish faith.

And while we are on the subject, why don't you all provide links to the numerous posts you have made discussing the foreign aid and other support given to countries that are actually hostile to the US.

Where are all the threads you started about all the hostile or questionable countries receiving aid and support from the US? Clearly, if this is a genuine concern, the concern doesn't stop with Israel. So where are they?

Why are you so touchy about this subject? I don't hate Jewish people, nor do I hate Muslims, Christians, Hindus, atheists or anyone else for that matter. I didn't start this thread.

I have to say, it seems pretty lame to have a "yo mamma"/"oh yeah!" type discussion and then declare yourself the winner. I chuckled at your "blow up in your face" comment but I can see a pattern here. By declaring yourself the victor and throwing your arm up in the air, perhaps people will think you are a victor in the absence of a victory.

Any interest in a discussion? ... because thinking you can win a philosophical argument in here isn't exactly the most viable perspective I've read.

I would list "my crew" as: Forkin' Crazy, Ultra25#1, Rexone, The Doctor, N2O Mirage, and lots of other people. These are people I respect and enjoy.

I respect your view but I enjoyed that thread. One of the take-aways for me was how little many in here seem to care about an assistant attorney general bullying a student. It's starting to look like Shrivell has a history of bullying. It's all hearsay at this point, though.

For me, it's not a gay issue. It's a human rights issue. Mr. Anderson should have the same human rights as a non-gay man. Assuming that, it comes down to: should an Assistant AG have the right to bully someone?

It's going through the courts. I'm interested to follow it and see how it turns out.

Perhaps this topic is a little dry to most. After all, it's just a gay on the receiving end of this bullying. It's not like it's your son who is being stalked and harassed by someone in the state's AG office.

I acknowledge that most people aren't interested in intricate legal battles that weigh the merits of seemingly conflicting laws on a given subject. Personally, I find it engaging. I guess that makes me a legal geek and/or a legislative geek.
