Looks like Obama is keeping up the deportation level.
While he is suing states on their immigration laws.
A mixed bag, but O isn't much if any worse than many leading Repubs. on this issue.

That the policies instituted under the Bush admin are working. And people like you wan't to give the credit to O. By the way did anyone see today that they are reducing the # of National Guardsmen from the border from 1000+ to 300. Seems O says we will save 24 mil a year by doing so. Of course he is too stupid to see that they will start flooding in and will cost us billions. I seem to remember this discussion a year ago. You libs were praising O for ordering the guard there after he was getting hammered by McCaine and others. And we told you it was just smoke and mirrors as they would ramp up over six months and then ramp down over six months. I guess we were right. O could care less about securing the border. Infact he just rolled out the red carpet for the cockroaches to come on in.
If you voted for Obama to prove you were not racist, then you better find someone else to vote for to prove your not stupid.
It appears not only deportations are up under President Obama, but so are deportations of criminals. I do think we still have a long way to go, but I am being realistic when I say I don't expect much to change.
On the flip side, I could say "The increase in deportations has been slowing under Obama". Which should be your way of looking at it too if you think not enough is being done.

The truth is the powers that be in Homeland Security are more concerned with dealing harshly with American citizens than illegals.
Interesting article on the massived homeland security funding for agressive training and war style military equipment for local police and sheriff departments.
This military style training and gearing up in addition to the recent oppressive no due process legislation passed to weaken our constiturional protections can only mean a planned tyranny if the sheep don't stay in the closely controlled flock....
Taxpayers are paying for this too. 34 billion in past 10 years. We are paying for our eventual oppression. However many corporations are making bank. So I guess it is OK
