Howard Custom Boats Regatta/Beach Party 2010

Ran into Gene from Howard Custom Boats at the Nautical in Havasu today. Gene said the regatta/beach party this year will be September 10-11-12 in Havasu. Additional details to follow.

I talked to Gene about this and he and Mike are the ones sponsoring this event. Gene actually picked up some great ideas from the one I put on last year.

It is not hard if you know right from the start the event is for people/same like and kind boat owners who really want to get together and boat. No crazy itinerary's etc...I honestly believe the days of organized regattas are on hold until the economy picks up.

Thus, it is up to the builder to organize and put on a regatta for their respective brand.

I will attend as my schedule of boating events is filling up fast glad they put it out now versus waiting a month or two before the actual date.

Answer= No! not before Bay Fair.

Your gonna have to find a boat if your going to that event it shouldn't be to hard to tag along. I know a lot of PB people are probably attending this event.
