Wheatland, MO Dragboat race July 29, 30, 31

Just drove by the new Lucas facility at Wheatland and it is going to be something!

I took two routes in to get an idea of how folks from my part of the country (from Central Arkansas) might want to go. I initially went in on 65 to I-44. Went West on 44 to 13. North on 13 to hwy 54 at Collins, took 54 15 miles into Wheatland. It does look a bit shorter breaking off hwy 13 at Bolivar, but that whole road is 25 miles to Wheatland and two-lane with NO SHOULDER. This pic is for all you Toter-home and Dually types taking large haulers up with you...it's on Hwy 83. Also, you have to make a couple of immediate left and right turns downtown Bolivar.

It's a much better pull for those of you with large trailers to just go on up 13 a bit further to Collins and take 54 on in.

Hey Bob. The 10-holer in Wheatland is full already! Bolivar has some mid-range, but for nice, Camdenton, Osage Beach or Springfield is it.

Raffle tickets will be sold Wed till Friday morning. The winner will get to make the FIRST PASS ever down the track.

All proceeds to be split between Racers for Christ and Racers Emergency Support Program.
