I pulled a newbie move today. Went to fuel up and lost my fuel fill cap, no lanyard of course. Can anyone tell me where I can get this style, Rexie any idea?

This one could be a challenge. What year approx is the boat?

Is it stainless or brass chromed?

Just realized that it could be a after market fill, because the original owner filled in the old holes when he put SS tanks and painted the boat.

It reminds me of a fill Nicson may have made in years gone by. Not sure tho.

I'd use a roll of Rex Marine certified Duct Tape until you find the replacement. I know Rex was selling a used roll back in the day.

I am pretty sure the "roll" in question was a roll of electrical tape, not duct tape.

You're right. I actually went back there and looked for it. You made me go back.

    Pretty good memory ey?

I am thinking electrical tape would hold up better than duct tape due to the duct tape being made with a cloth base.

I looked over the thread and it doesn't seem that you sold said item Rexie, what do you say?

I did a little looking and don't see it anywhere. I'm guessing it is a Nicson cap, Nicson having been out of biz for the better part of 2 decades.

See "it"? Are you referring to the cap, or the tape?

    It happens.

Rexie, sell the guy some new replacement billet fills or refer him to one of your machinist
buddies to make him some new custom matching caps.

Thanks alot for looking Rexie, but I posted this up in the Vdrive Section and somebody had a link for Jet boat forum. A guy has the exact set for sale that came off his Dad's Spectra. I guess these are the original set that came with the Spectra's back in the day. Could be made by Nicson like you said. On top of that, the guy ending up living 20 min. from me. So it worked great. Thanks again for your time. By the way I will be calling after CFW in regards to a new rudder for the cruiser. What do you recommend?
