I put a setback bracket on my 10 to get the engine off the well area and now the cable is too short. It is a morse setup and I need about 6 more inches. Do you have these cables?

Sent you a PM with some questions and info. The only current replacement cable Teleflex is offering for Morse is for the Command 200 Rack system.

Complete new Teleflex systems are relatively inexpensive though.

Where would it say what system it is? I had sent a pic before when I was trying to get a polished cover for the helm? Will it be on the actual unit behind the dash?

There will be a part number in the cable more than likely towards the end of the jacket.

However if it's a rotary it doesn't matter...no replacements available. Rotary will be a drum like deal behind the dash.

If it's rack and pinion you will have a rack assy about 2 feet long behind the dash. Then we need a number to tell if it's the correct type of rack or a real old one.

Well, for sure then I will need a new steering setup as I know there is no rack back there....

I will get a cable length and get back to you. I remember seeing a hydraulix unit that looked real nice, you offer those?

BTW - got my fuel fill, hopefully put a gas tank in it soon. Do you have battery holds for smaller batteries?

I don't have a hydraulic for vdrive app at this time.

The only small bat box I have a box for is the Oddessy PC925. Here is a link.

It is actually for the 10 I am doing right now, so it is an O/B. I put a setback bracket as the clamp on the transom seemed to mess up the fiberglass and it looks nicer but now the cable is too short. I will measure tonight and we can go from there.

So I measure roughly 104" fromt he helm to the threaded fitting on the engine that is the mounting point. Do you have a hydraulic unit that would work for a 40HP? I would like a polished helm as the wheel is polished.

    Thanks.
