    Default Stringer Mount Boxes

For Optimas are now available... 24's and 27's are coming

The bases are machined out of 1/2" structural angle and are rock solid for supporting the weight of a battery. No bolt on supports. No bolts to break off. The mounting holes for mounting through the stringers fit 3/8" bolts.

These boxes will go online soon as soon as I have finished inventory (days).

The BIL150 has the side mount leg "up" behind the battery. $189.99 ea polished.

Below is the BIL160. These have the side mounting leg facing "down" below the battery. $188.99 ea. polished.

I also have some duals finished, inline Optimas but no pics of those yet. They are very similar to the singles pictured above, only longer.

Dammit, Mike, those stringer mount boxes look sweet. I wish I'd known they were coming before I drilled my stringers to fit my old mount. What is the overall length and height of the mounting face? Could I get one that wasn't drilled? Thanks.

The mounting pad measures 9 1/2 x 4 1/2 (at the high point). They come drilled. I'm presently making a run and am not sure where it is at in terms of progress. If I could pull one out undrilled I certainly would. They may still be undrilled, maybe not. I'd need to know right away though and if you wanted a 150 or 160. ...

I could certainly pull one (or more) from a future run as well if it turns out these are already drilled.

oh boy, you cant beat that for service! Do you have the spacers to space out the box from the stringer? for the steering cables to run through. I will box up my rex box I never used and send that back and get you the difference!

Don I don't have any spacers. It's been a battle just getting the new boxes done...

I may have some round bar laying around here you could make some out of though. Let me know what you have in mind.

If you're shipping it back please give the guys a call for an RMA# first so we can get it handled properly....

    thanks

Those are std battery case size designations Don, Not Optima. 24 is roughly 10" long, 27 is roughly 12" long. Standard lead acid top post bats. Side posts will also fit the 24 and 27 boxes.
