    Default Oil pres. sender

Need an oil pres. sending unit for a 0-100 lbs. Gaffrig gauge. Anything special?

Depends on if the gauge is calibrated for Merc or otherwise. What sender are you replacing? or, do you have a part number on the particular gauge... Newer Gaffrig...older Gaffrig built by Livorsi... etc.

The gauges were purchased in June of 2006. Part #55122 for the oil pressure gauge. Sender part #9106. Bought this boat, the green metalflake Schiada about 6 weeks ago and the sending unit was not there, just had a mechcanical on it. The in dash Gaffrig saved the motor from a meltdown as the previous owner saw a lack of pressure and shut down. Broken oil pickup, but no motor damage.

Thanks Mike for your trouble. After going to there website it appears that I have one on a motor that I recently bought to go into the old Campbell woodie flat that I have. Iwill try it since the Campbell is set up for a mechanical gauge. Thanks again.
