    Arrow B&B Performance Oil Pans

Rex Marine is now distributing both B&B and Stef's Marine Oil Pans. The Stef's fabricated pans will be introduced a bit later.

The B&B 10 Quart Jet Drive Oil Pan is the finest pan for the money you can buy.

    • One piece formed pan body, not pan rails with a welded-on box

    • Body is heavy gauge steel made by the same company that makes stock GM pans, not a cheap imported thin gauge pan.

    • 2 sets of directional trap doors to keep oil around the pickup

    • Directional windage screen , not a sheet metal tray, mounted in the pan keeps oil in the sump where it belongs, not on the crank where it robs horsepower and aerates the oil causing oil pressure problems and even engine failure

    • 10 quart capacity, some would call this a 12 quart pan but it is called 10 quart by B&B-Stefs because that keeps the oil below the windage screen

    • Fully fabricated weld-in pickup. This pickup is a stout piece

    • Fasteners are included

    • All this at a price far less than lesser performing pans - $319.99

    • B&B Pan presently available for Mark 4 style BBC engine only

    • Pickup options available for all popular Melling Oil Pumps, specify oil pump being used when ordering pans.

We also will have the Melling pumps in stock shortly.

The first group of B&B Pans will be in stock around May 15th.

The B&B Jet pans have arrived and are now available.

You must specify what oil pump is being used as they are different pickups. I'm stocking extra pickups to accommodate all common pumps.

    Specify

M77 - standard volume Melling pump
M77HV - high volume Melling pump
10770 - Melling select high volume pump - beefier casting than M77HV
10778 - Melling select high volume pump - taller casting and cover and shafts are extended into cover for additional support
10778C - Same as 10778 but with anti cavitation grooves

The last 2 take the same pickup. The pans will come with pickup for the std volume pump unless otherwise specified.

I will also have the Melling pumps in stock shortly.

I will get this all on the website asap. In the mean time you can order by phone as they are now available. (jet pans).

They are stock pan profile as in pic, no extended sides, 8" deep.

    Mike,

I'm going to swing by in the morning on my way to work and pick one of these pans up from you.

I ordered the 10778C pump, so that's the pickup I would need.

I assume these pans will clear a 4.25" stroke without issue?

Jeff 4 1/4 is no problem, they will fit up to 4 3/8 (steel rods only). I have your pan set out on will call for you with the correct pickup for the 10778 pump.

    Thanks

    Thanks Mike!

I got into your driveway this morning and then realized that I forgot my wallet.

I'll pick it up on Friday morning...

Due to weak economy they were never built. The way things are going don't look for them anytime soon. Sorry.

I'm buying a used pan from someone here on the forum, trying to save a few bucks as I got lots of parts left to buy, my motor is a 454 BBC, I need a pickup for it, I am guessing a standard jet boat pan pickup for a melling oil pump is what I need, I think it's a standard 77 pump, I can call the machine shop tommorow to find out exactly which pump he put on it if I need that info. Would like to buy the pickup from you, are they in your store?

It will depend on what type of pan you have (brand). They all take different pickup configurations. Some may work with other pans but this is kind of a guessing game if you have an unidentified pan.

Any chance of becoming a dealer for Armando's oil pans?

Finding a v-drive pan for a 409 was a bitch...maybe you could help some Pontiac/Caddie/other weird motor lovers out.
