We just added two new features to certain areas of the site. Most of the tech sections and other areas where people often ask specific questions now have the ability to rate a posts helpfulness and mark the thread as solved.

To mark a thread as solved, choose "Mark Thread as Solved" from thread tools.

To select an answer as either helpful or not helpful choose either yes or no at the bottom left of the post. This is still a bit of a work in progress, and it may move over to the lower right if I can get the layout to cooperate.

Depending on how this gets used, a post voted for enough times will move to the top of the thread.
