    Anybody know of cheap hotels in O.k city for the June races?

    Anything east of the airport is super close to the track. Near Meridian.

    The host hotel listed on their website is just a few blocks from the site and is $89 per night....

    They had plenty of rooms yesterday...

    Downtown will have your nicest hotels and be closest to the river, but also the most expensive. Don't stay anywhere on the SE side or off of I-35. I'd say anything on Meridain would be your best bet, and its not too far from the river. If you stay on Meridain, try to stay closer to I-40. Down towards SW 15th and 29th is still a little shady.

    We are staying at the Bricktown Hotel, 2001 East Reno Avenue, $69/night. See okcmotorsports.com. I personally liked the race spot further down better. Close to the hotels and less traffic issues.

    You ever stayed there? I'd personally suggest a new spot. It's $69 a night for a reason....being it's the East Side of town. Just because it has Bricktown in it's name, doesn't mean it's in Bricktown. If you're bringing a boat with you, I'd damn sure not leave it in the parking lot over night.

    Default Directions to the race site from I-35

    For those coming with long trailers(or any trailer) I would suggest that you come in from I-35, south of I-40,exit SE15 street west. Take 15th to to Central, then go north (turn right at the stop light) over the river and thru the woods to the pits.
