    Default Recommended motor oil

I bought a boat with a blower motor and not sure of what type of oil these engines need. Can you recommend the proper motor oil weight and brand. Sythetic or Pertroleum based.
    Thanks Joel

I run Valvoline racing 50 weight. I think almost everyone runs 50 weight but different brands. Good luck.

    Hey JDA,

We run kendall, 50wt, Straight weight Racing Oil in all of our blower Motors, and is what we consider to be the best oil for the application. Do not run a synthetic, unless it is the Mercury High Performance or the AMSOIL 20w50 Dominator. -Eric

Hey Eric, whats your take on Brad Penn Oil? I don't run a blower motor, just a Nat. Asp. BBC, hyd rolller. I currently run 20-50.

I have no idea, never heard of it personally. I would run the AMSOIL 20w-50 Dominator or a Kendall 50wt Racing oil. -Eric
