anybody,need help with posting

why would it be that i can post here (test post section),but cant post any where else in the forums?
Funny thing is if i try a friends PC (i have tryed two different ones) i have no probs posting in all sections...
when i try my laptop,i get a Microsoft Internet explorer (aborted operation)
any help is appreciated

I am getting the same thing only on this PC though... I don't know how to repair it?
