    Mike you want to trade it for a 2001gmc extended cab all opts leather new 20"tires and wheels air bags eng oil cooler trans cooler gm performance trans alpine deck and all jl audio speakers amp subs ithas138k miles it's very clean an rus great only reason I'm looking for a duelley for towing my camp trailer the truck does it just fine but I just want anouther duelley let me know

    Allison trans doesn't fit this bodystyle unless there is a body-lift??? Are we sure it's not a 4L80E?

    In 2005 the truck was still within factory warranty(approximately 58k miles) when the trans let go over the grapevine.
    There were no new 4l80e transmissions available and with the warranty a rebuild wasn't covered only a new unit. So the HD trans was installed. My brother in law who bought it new in 99 still has the paperwork (total was close to 10k) and GM covered every penny of it!
    Interesting. They changed the shifter and dash cluster to represent 5th gear? Did they cut the floorboard and adjust? Or just dimple it in the necessary areas??
