Default 07 Nissan titan pulling a 32ft baja

What do y'all think about a 2007 nissan titan 2WD pulling a baja 32 caliber. The boat weighs 7000# dry with no trailer and my truck is rated to pull 9400#. My truck has the tow package and the factory hitch. How will my truck do pulling this? Will my hitch be up for the task? Will 2WD be a problem getting the boat out of the water? I pull a baja 240 now with no issue. Thanks

Please launch at Site6 so the videos can be shared by the masses.

I think your over loading on the truck. Hills will be a bitch. Braking would be a bitch. Downhill the boat would probably be pushing the truck.

7000# dry with no trailer? Throw some fuel in it, plus the trailer and all your "stuff"... Just guess what it weighs then?

Yeah, launch at site 6... Lol

    Default ramifications

There are just certain things I had never thought of myself until they were pointed out to me. I used to just think if I could pull whatever down the road, that was the only concern. Someone mentioned that an insurance company is going to wash their hands to you if not doing everything properly and then it is all on you. AND, if you f'up, it may not be only your truck, your boat, or you that pays the consequences. An out of control rig has pretty good chances of hurting another driver that had nothing to do with your set up, hitch, brakes, etc. etc. I do not want my conscious having to deal with something forever because I saved a few $$.

If you can afford a 32' Baja, then you can afford the 3/4 ton 4x4 (slick boat ramps) you need to pull it. Time to trade the Titan in.
