We were on our way home from Bakersfield Raceway on Sunday morning and I see a guy going the other way with an overhead camper pulling two tag trailers. One was a boat and the second was a jetski trailersphss As far as I know this is illegal in Cali. So what's the deal? Is he a newbie and hasn't been caught or does he just do it till pulled over then unhooks one then recouples in a parking lot when the CHP is gone. It was on the 5. Just thought it was interesting
But will they pull you over for no reason just to check and see if you have the endorsement? And whats the deal with pulling a 5th wheel and a tag behind that, same as a tag tag?
Technically, yes. The fifth will always have brakes, so that part is already handled. Still need a Class-A.
