So in my never ending quest for a louder stereo, I decided to rip the interior apart in my truck and build a ported fiberglass box for two 13w7's. I'm slow this time or year anyhow, and I've been thinking about how I could do this for about a year.
I'll post some pics tommorrow of the start of the project. Today was just measuring and removing the 2 center consoles
My truck has four buckets btw, so the box will start at the front of the truck and go all the way to rear wall, the speakers will be downfired. The port will exit the box at the rear of the cab.
Not sure if I'm going to paint it or ulpholster it in black to match the black leather seats, we'll see how it goes and if I run over budget on the project or not.
It's gonna be nasty loud. :)devil;)
BTW, I have a stealth box that was in the center console with a 10w3 for sale. The ten was just replaced last month and is barely broken in, will also come with a 1 year warranty on the ten. 250 bucks cash (that's a steal, it was almost double that cost and retails for 650.00)
