Opinions on 3/4-ton Big Block Sub

Thinking about a late 90's 3/4-ton 7.4-L 454 Suburban. want something that can tow bitchin buit also haul the family, the dog and all the gear to the river while yanling my 22 Schiada. I have a little Toyota pickup for a daily driver so not real worried about fuel mileage. I also tow a 20 foot trailer with a hot rod on it in the summer so I am thinking 3/4-ton with the big-block just to make towing a breeze all around. Boat usually stays at Mead but we want to do some Powell trips as well.

Does anyone have one and how do you like it? 2WD or 4Wd?

Mostly going to tow my car trailer far distances with my 56 F-100 on it. Boat will just be yanked from storage to the ramp in Mead about 2 miles. I do want the freedom to go to other lakes and such and not be stressed about overworking a 1/2-ton. I thought about a mid 2000's sub with a 5.3LS and maybe topping it with a Magnsuon blower but I want to run 87 octane. I just want a good reliable workhorse that can haul my toys and the family. My wife likes the sub cause we can get the family, the dog, the gear in it. Maybe I'll look up George (The Car Dudes) and see what he's got.

I have a 454 Suburban Dually has all the 1 ton brakes for stopping the weight, the 454 to get it going, small helper bags on the rear with the dual tires in the rear make it very stable. With the three rows of seats can pack in the whole family. and everywhere I go it get a ton of looks.
Both my brother and I have them you should see people when they see two.
