    Question 26 ft. Daytona/ 09, newer 1/2 Sub launch ?

Anyone launch with a 1/2 ton 2wd sub around here? My 09's suspension is soft and it hangs with my 3k lb. 21ft. boat, can only imagine it would drag the ass end launching our Daytona. Local pull/launch ramp duties only, but wondering if others have left the stock shocks alone or found some stiffer ones?

I've seen expeditions/tahoes launching deck boats, know it could be done, just don't want ass end of the sub on the ground totally should I try it.

Wifey is tired of riding/bouncing in the back of the Dmax wtih baby and my built suspension when we take it for the Daytona.

    Thanks

Add some air bags if its really bad, or leave the boat back a few inches on the trailer if its very tongue heavy. I have a 26 daytona and it seems pretty light.........do you have a 2 axle or 3 axle trailer?

Another vote for air bags. I added some to my tow vehicle so that I can keep my headlights from blinding others.

Life is all about ass, you're either covering it, hauling it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, or behaving like one.

You might be surprised at how light the front of the Daytona is. We had our trailer mod'd to put a little more weight on the tongue. At most, $200 in airbags would do it, and is easily adjustable. My wife hates driving to Havi in the Dmax as well, she would rather race there in her little honda.

You'll be fine. This is w/5 people in the truck and no bags. Bags will go on this weekend to help with the sag in the rear for ease of mind and load leveling.

    Default 03 Denali

I have an 03 Yukon Denali. I pull a 26 DCB Mach with mine and was wondering if anyone else pulls with one. It already has factory air suspension but seems it could be a little low in the back when the boat is hooked up, could be my imagination. Any thoughts? Thinking of taking it out today.

Thanks for the replies, was trying to steer clear of air bags as I run them in the 2500 ,but if they're that cheap on 1/2tons, might have to go that way.

    I have a 3 axle extreme trailer.

I"ll just have to try it out next trip, closest ramp is only 3 miles and it's one that's forgiving.

I thought the Denali's were 3/4 ton frames in 03?

You maybe right on the 3/4 ton frame for the 03 models. I need to do some research.
