A problem with a 2007 Colorado
My odometer stopped working at 31698 miles the odometer doesnt work either.Speedo is fine just the above dont work. I hate the idea of taking the truck to a dealer.Does anyone have a clue as to how to get it going again ? I cant figure where to start....be great if it was a leaser tho.
The cluster needs to be taken out and sent in for repair. If out of warranty you can send it in yourself. Try pulling out on the little button that changes the settings. Might do something.

I have tried that,give me a hint here,do I have to pull the dash and risk blowing the airbag or can it be removed with just the four bolts that hold it in ?I know I have to disable the sir system just to be safe Thanks.
Okay I bought a new cluster and guess what it went to31968 and that's it still don't work what's next?
take it to the dealer, its cheaper to replace the 1 part that's broke than keep throwing parts at it. they'd only charge you an hr of labor to tell ya what's exactly wrong with it, say 100 bucks to know for sure. the odometer info can be stored in the body control module or the pcm, diff yr models store it in diff places.Originally Posted by mdsheppie
