Please give more specs and name of qualified installer. Approx costs and changes required to do this job. I would be interested in this swap as my 6.2 doesnt get as good mileage as Cummins would and should be a better all around package.

Its a cummins not cummings. Just a big pet peeve of mine

And yes depending on what year motor it was it either has the P-pump or the VE which have fuel screws to turn up the amount of fuel dumped in the motor

Don't know about you, but a nice Cummins has me .... well you get the idea. And yes the mechanical pump is an easier swap than the electronic controled injection. The mechanical pump should be pretty much a no wire swap. No glow plugs, no injector pump brain.... just crank it and go.

Holy mosses man. You used a pretty big shovel to dig this one up.

On your body style truck I would say somewhere around 2 days max.
On mine I used everything Dodge including the drive shaft that bolted right in. Even the power stearing hose went from one pump to the other. Trans cross member was slid back to the rear holes and drilled new holes for the now rear bolts. Intercooler between rad and grill. Had to cut holes in the rad support for the pipes. Down pipe from turbo fits no problem with no mods. Dodge motor mounts are used but the mount that goes on the motor has to be split and re-angled. I think thats it...?

    Qualified installer....no clue.

I dont mind the 50mpg with the 323 gear though. 60mph=1400rpm
