Does this ever happen to any of you? Every time I go to pull my boat off the ball, it sticks. I have to crank it up high, then get in the truck and move slightly forward or back to get it to pop off. Should I just spray some WD40 on the ball?

Ha, i have a flattbottom and mine sticks all the time. I noticed its almost impossible for me seperate the two if im on a hill or i need to jacknife the boat into a tight spot. then i just pull the pin on my reciver and drive forward until the hitch slides off my truck.
Grease on it or get one of those greaseless balls.

Life is all about ass, you're either covering it, hauling it, laughing it off, kicking it, kissing it, busting it, trying to get a piece of it, or behaving like one.
Grease is a must, but I also put the E brake on after backing to keep as nuatral pressure as possible. If you pull through, you may try backing a bit then E brake.
Grease, then after you back the boat into it's spot just pull forward a hair. If you are putting tire blocks in, then put the blocks in and pull forward a hair, this letting the tongue come out a bit and taking the pressure off of the rear side of the ball.

I used to have that problem, but if you're on flat ground after stopping the tow vehicle, put in in neutral and let it set with the brake off before setting the parking brake and putting it in park. It will allow the pressure to be taken off the tongue.
Greased up the ball yesterday and worked like a charm. Slid on and off like a......well, a greased ball! Thanks
