where to buy wiring harness stuff???

Is almost 2 am... ive spent almost 5 hrs chasing wires, trying to make sense of what some tweaker did with the wiring... Ive got a fresh motor in the boat i wanna break in and cant cuz the wiring is so screwey and somehow quit qorking properly over the winter..

Where can i buy the wiring stuff to make a new harness???

Preferably the 7 wire harness thats already insulated..... about 25 ft of it

call around to your local napa auto parts store. they should have it for trailers.

should a #16 7 wire loom and 8 gain junction with breaker be suitable for a basic GM wiring harness?

Make your own, it's not tat hard. The hardest part is finding the right colors. Red,black,purple, I've seen at autozone. I've seen brown and gray at Harbor freight. Get all the ends together and tie them up and off to something that will hold them. Most spools come in 25', so not much waist. You can buy split tube as well. I have a harness in my garage, brand new. It was made in Havasu by Specialty Marine. 16 years ago it cost me $100.00 to have them make it, today 200+. Just make your own, it will be quicker and cheaper. Hell even walfart has wire, and connectors.

Hell even a cheap roll of 14/12? gauge 4-wire trailer wire can work well if it's just for light loads and sending units. Plus it's probably 25' or so for like $10 maybe.

Also you can search ebay for mercruiser wiring harness. I picked up a new one for 25.00. CPperformance has them also.
