    Default duplicolor

Great stuff but has no strength to it. Kinda like laquer paint. Use the basecoat and finish with clear and it looks really good. Just don't hit it with anything. I used it on my old turnbuckles ( before I replaced everything with a down peddle setup). I am not sure the picture will show it.
Try it, you can always take it off.

Cool, thanks. I think I will try it. A lot of powder coat/anodizing is not in the budget this year. Like you said, "you can always take it off".

I've used this also and found it pretty good. I've used it over polished alloy which came up good. I have also used the basecoat but MY preference is to polish the metal first.
On both occasions I have then applied POR 15 (clear) this stuff was designed as a clear coating for wheels. It's great! Does not yellow, sets HARD but seems to have some 'give' and gas & other chemicals don't seem to affect it
Just my 02c for what it's worth

As mentioned, its pretty easy to mar but, burried under 5 coats of clear, its holding up pretty well. I used the base coat and then several coats of the emerald green, tossed on a coat of the duli color metal effex ( micro flake ) and then cleared the hell out of it.

I haven't seen the green before, only red, blue & purple.
    Certainly looks different though

Well, its a white boat with purple and green graphics. I checker plated the entire engine compartment. snow white powder coat on all the sides, transom and seat back, Metal Cast Purple on the floors so it only seemed fitting to use green on the motor.

This pic was after thr first heavy coat of clear before colour sanding and clearing 4 more times.
