Default How to plumb a vdrive

Looking for a way to plumb my hydro so I can use an electric water pump instead of the cam driven pumps. The impellers seem to get trashed very easy. I imagine I still use the water inlet from the back of the boat but where does it all go? TIA

What kind of electric pump. Every electric pump I know of , that works uses the same type impeller.

I'm thinking of this one. JAB-18660Jabsco Water Puppy 380 GPH

The impeller may be the same but it shouldn't cook like the cam driven ones. I may be wrong about that............

Basically the same way a cam driven one is plumbed. Mount it around your pickup, they have an inlet and outlet the same as a cam driven one.

This motor came out of a jet. Can I get away w/o buying a new timing cover. Thats what I meant about plumbing. Where would the inlet and outlets go? TIA

list your componets or take a picture . lots of different ways

I am not familier with the electric pumps . but with the cross over ttube you do not have to use the aluminum type cover , and can keep the Jet cover .
