Default How do i install a turbo 400 trani in my v-drive

bought a motor and trani combo and would like to install the trani in my boat when i do the motor so it will be a little easier around the idiots at the docks having a reverse option plus the extra gear for top end i've bene told 1st is pretty useless except no wake areas

The 3rd gear ratio is gonna be 1:1 so you're not gonna see any more gear for the top end. Reverse would be nice to have though. You just need a small cooler for the trans. fluid if you're not going to run a converter.
