    Default Gale Banks intercooler

Purchased a Gale Banks intercooler sometime back, has seen a few discussions regarding what the intercooler cores look like, co decided in weekend to pull it a part and check gaskets, and see what IC cores looed myself

In doing so polished the IC casing up, and soaked the IC cores in a cleaner/boiling water. So for those that are interested took some pics
Not sure how different the Richard Lee intercooler cores are to the Gale Banks, perhaps someone can help mne with that?
Gaskets are in reasonable cond, imagine I will just use a little silicon to help seal.
coes seem to be in excellent cond, not usre whether its worth getting them pressure tested?

good site lots of information, have learned a lot so far Thanks

Banks has one-3/4" inlet & two-1/2" outlet,PFM two 1/2" inlet & two-1/2" oulet. No difference in efficenicy. Those are the good Harrison cores, you should make a plate for the front & pressure check them or takem to a good radaitor shop, that can remove the rear tank, clean them out & reinstall the tank

i don't think i would have used silicone with the rubber gasket, from what iv'e been told & seen ,they will leak if you do that.
    not 100% sure . anybody?
