Default MSD needs your input on survey and possibly win $100

For years, MSD has made a name for itself in the automotive world of high end performance products. Many on this forum may already use one of their UL approved marine ignition systems. Recently MSD has expanded to make a kit that converts carbureted engines to fuel injection with the new Atomic EFI system. This system is easy to install and offers many technical advantages over a carburetor setup.

This system is currently designed for automotive use only. However MSD has approached you, our forum members, in hopes of learning more about the marine market and how users might view such a system if it were made applicable for marine use.

Please click on the URL and fill out the survey.

MSD Performance - Marine Atomic EFI

Your input will have direct impact on how MSD proceeds with this system.

Dang, I took the survey but theres nowhere for comments. I put the all new Holley multi-port EFi on my cruiser last year and had some recommendations for boat installs. Maybe they'll open it up for that.

Feel free to post your comments publicly or send me a PM. We are looking for any input we can get. We realize there are some technical hurdles when dealing with marine applications and any input is appreciated.

    Thanks

I think the Atomic system is not that well suited to the high performance marine market. Maybe if they could use 2 throttle bodies on top of a blower instead of carbs they might have something. I am considering switching my draw through 2 carb twin turbo motor to the new Holley Dominator EFI system which is doable with 2 throtlle bodies and there computer.

MSD would like input from a few more of our members and has upped the prize to $100.00.

    Thanks
