Looks like Hud has the answer that works for me. I am going to see my daughter and grand kids who live in Roseville so the Lincon airport will work perfect. I don't know if I will need any because I was planing on bringing about 60 or 70 gals to Bass Lake If I can get av gas in Lincoln I might just bring just enough to run at Bass Lake and then get more in Lincoln. there. t Thanks to HUD it looks like iI have it covered for both events. Thanks again everyone for the help...

...Thought about mixing it with 110 to get to 106,...but no one there could explain exactly what it was... ...Must be they don't carry it in India???... ...Some Union stations do or did carry 100+ octane...

I get my 100LL AV at Cameron park airport, you had to carry jugs about 100 yards thru a pedestrian gate that is usually unlocked

That station doesnt sell 100 octane anymore, they changed it to diesel. I thought it was just for the winter but the guy says he doesnt get enough business to keep the race fuel stored.

I just want to add that if anyone goes to the airport for their AvGas, please dispense into gas containers. Do not put it directly into your boat even if you think it is perfectly legal to do so....because many aviators might not agree and/or view it as bad etiquette or innapropriate to use "their" fuel and then we'll all lose our privileges, airport by airport. Be discreet and show a little respect.

I usually go with containers in the back of my pickup, and if I were ever asked what I need the fuel for (and depending on my "read" of the individual asking) I might tell them it's for a home-built plane such as a "Very Easy." But to avoid all this I just go after regular business hours and use the self serve pump with a credit card. If the pump askes for an "N" number just put any number in from any nearby plane or pretty much any number at all....the pump will accept it. For example I usually enter "26287285" (ie, BOATPAUL).

Never had an issue at Lodi and it is a self serve pump available 24/7. If anyone is around they usually come over to look over the boat. If the volume of av gas sales keeps dropping due to the shitty Obama economy av gas as we know it will be changing sooner than planned and will contain ethanol and no lead. I would think spending 10 mins. or less pumping 50 gals. into a boat would be more productive than filling a bunch of plastic containers with no provision for the stactic elec. ground strap that you are supposed to hook up. If a plane were to show up while I was fueling, I would stop pumping and get out of their way.
