I just tore my casale apart and I have a set of 1.15 gears. I'm looking for a little more over drive. Maybe some 18 to 22. What do you guys have?

Well I still have what you need but the price will go up by the week! You have never been inside of a Casale but you are going to build your own bearing caps after I offered you CNC'd caps basically at cost. I normally would trade gears plus some cash but I have at least 2 sets of 15 12* now and don't need any more. Think about this, that v-drive next to your leg is like a bomb waiting to go off if set up wrong! I am tired of new guys coming on here, sucking up info, and trying cheap out on everything. I actually quoted you a price for the gears higher than I would have anybody else on this forum. Go to this guys profile, click on current posts, and you will get my point. I am retired and do this as a hobby. I have been v-driving for over 40 years and I am sure that is longer than you have been alive. Rant over.

I appreciate the offer on the caps. I do machine work for work and turning out a couple billet covers is not that hard, especially when I have the old ones as guides, I'm sure that how you made yours. As far as the rebuilding of the casale, your right it is my first time. I have built a lot of my own stuff for both boats and cars and have never had a problem. I took my box apart and will rebuild it the same way. I'm not a racer or claim to be a professional. Everyone has to learn how to do like I'm sure you did 40 years ago before I was even alive. I also appreciate your honesty about the gears that you offered me. Im sorry that you do not appreciate my newbie questions, or the fact the I do not prefer to get jabbed for pricing, as you have indicated. Do yourself a favor and stop replying to this post or any of my post, so that you will no longer be bothered by us " new guys" asking questions. Thanks again.
I didn't know we aren't supposed to ask questions, compare prices and soak up knowledge, all in the pursuit of trying to do things better, cheaper or quicker. I do it all the time, sorry if I offend anyone. I have offered my opinions on several things and just hoped it helped someone. The ideas didn't come with any warranty though.![]()
