Is it the dual coils that make this boat that fast or the trans?

130 in the rough stuff? He's even offering us to drive! Good thing I'm recently in the market.

PLEASE, someone go give this thing a test drive and break out the gps. Don't forget to snap a pic of it and the owners face, when the boat fails to deliver

I am no expert on the 21 Daytona, but I have to agree with Church Mouse. I have never seen a 21 Daytona with that high of a deck and the center fork point.

    I won't argue with the 130mph.

    That's an Eliminator Scorpion.
I've only seen one other that was an original Vdrive.

I always liked that hull design. From what I read they never worked well as jets.

Here's the story I got, the original motor that went 130 blew up, according to the current owner the original owner told him someone timed the motor wrong and a piston hit the head and "ru-ennt" ( I think he was saying ruined) the head. Then the original owner was building a new blower motor but hurt his back before he got to buy a blower so he put the tunnel ram on it. The current owner does't know anything about the motor, doesn't know the cam, heads, carbs, .... nothing other than he knows it's a low compression BUT ..... he guarantees it runs 100 with the current n/a blower motor because he has a video of him holding his I-Phone while he is driving the boat and it shows 100 on the screen. So there you have it, the full story.

That boat has been around there for quite a long time. Craig Taylor rigged it. It is an Eliminator Scorpion.

And..... Oklahoma rough water is a bit different than out west. All a matter of perspective.

Remember, in Oklahoma the wind is blowing 50 mph from the south whenever you go to the lake. So, If he's driving north at 80, and with the tail wind, presto 130 mph. Simple math for you west coasters....lol

In that rear view pic it looks like some extension strakes built onto the sponsons.
The center pod looks quite a bit higher than the sponsons.

maybe it has a gear vendor overdrive lol? with the overdrive, the correct gears in the vdrive and a super polished prop i bet it would be a 200mph boat bwahahah
