Got a simple question for you guys. 20 years ago, my dad bought a new 10 degree casale for the the hydro, and he was told the biggest gears he could put in it (as I understand, by someone at Casale) without removing the water jackets was 22% over. We found a good deal on a set of 25% gears for the Taylor (which has a 12 degree Casale), and are wondering if this was really true, as I've never heard anybody on the boards talking about having to remove the jackets and alot of you run pretty steep gears. What's the skinny on this? Thanks!
