It's small, but important and I've had personal experience with these when they decide to stop working. The little rubber flapper type bilge drain.

The impellers are a big one. Seem to be tough to get. MSD boxes wouldn't be a bad idea. We have have had a couple go out on us.
I get in boat and push the peddle!

Impellers sell the most at our shop (505, Glenwood, Sherwood, etc.), Prop strut/shaft bushings. Most important to me, I offer parts for racers "at cost". I'm not in business to make money off boat racers.

A pine needle almost got me. If the boat hadn't been in such shallow water, it would've gone down. Auto bilge pump for now on.

Yes foreign objects not good. Also fuel or oily water in bilge wrinkles the rubber up. They were originally designed for drag boats and migrated to the recreational arena. Work great with the above exceptions. We manufacture billet alum versions of same. Good to carry spare rubber. Where have I heard that before.
