I can send you a long holesaw to borrow...like in my video..cuts a very nice hole...
Thanks Lou but that's be a helluva price to ship it! The propshaft hole has been drilled already. The v-drive, strut and shaft are installed but no turn-fin yet. Very soon tho...
I have plenty of it. Most the builders use it vs marine tex. Clean up and shape with water vs paint thinner. Make sure you get the HD variety though the std is pretty runny. Those are beautiful floors. Might just want to hang that thing on the wall rather than drill holes in .![]()

How about an end mill? Any suggestions? I've never used an end mill on fiberglass. Anyone have any experience using one before I start butchering?
Thanks
I made a steel plate jig. Started with two holes and used the jig with locating pins. Pictures available if needed.
I finally got all of my holes cut and everything lined up. How much of the sealant (Marine tex or Sea Goin putty) do I need In order to properly seal my flatbottom? Drop-thru turn-fin, drop-thru strut, drop-thru whip-strut, shaft-log seal and rudder.
Thanks for the help!
Steve
