Default Cole TR2 "under the influence"

So in 2010 after some serious thought I picked up a buddy’saborted project a Cole tr2. since I was a young I always loved flats, when I was 17 I got my first jet and have had them ever since, so to finally be getting into a flat is really a dream come true.

This is my build, tried like hell to do it right, and I can’t thank Tony C. enough for all his encouragement and expertise throughout the build. Also needto thank Chris Braun, Joey G, Don and Kevin felkins for help as well. It’s beena blast, allot of long nights and plenty of trial and error.
This is what we started with....

We filled dash, gas caps, and gave her fresh white paint.

after paint came the real learning curve. We moved the strut location and dialed in the bottom.

started by removing exsisting speed coat

after a lot of countless hours spent sanding and filling sanding and filling we were able to flip it back over and start the rigging process.

after seeing this hull sit empty for almost a year before working on it felt really good to start drilling holes and placing things. I am not the most patient person, but dam this has put me in my place, to do it right really takes time
